Light fading brings back memories
Last night right as the light was fading outside, I had to run back to the shop as I have done a thousand times. I often enjoy the stillness and quiet of being there alone. The peace makes for a snapshot of progress.
Seeing the shop like this reminded me of when I had to do all of this alone. I would do my "day job" for 8-10 hours and then hurry back to the farm wood shop and make chairs for an additional 5 to 6 hours every night.
It was grueling, but now I find myself grateful to our team that makes everything possible.
