Cave Spring's Old House
Our crew volunteered their time and energy this morning to help clean up the yard of one of the oldest houses in Cave Spring. Built in the 1840s, it was the first home in town designed by an architect.
It has an incredible history dating back before the civil war. Because of its height, people would climb up and watch for returning soldiers. It was even used to board teachers for the Georgia School of the Deaf.
We love the history and heritage of our home town!
