We left this town 6 years ago. A small amount of time for some, but it seems like it put #monroe on warp speed. I had a delivery of Poly Adirondack Chairs in the area and drove to see our old shop in the cotton district of downtown Monroe. Wow! what a change - our shop's doorstep used to look out over an empty and discarded lot. It has now been transformed into a fantastic green space complete with a splash pad.

The old train tracks that led to the cotton district are still there, reminiscent of an older time and town that has seen a LOT of change.

Glad to see your still thriving, Monroe! Im proud of the town I grew up in!
